Humboldt Foundation Fellow at the Department of Medical Ethics of the University of Göttingen, Germany (2001-2002) and DAAD-Visiting Professor of Bioethics at the same University (2003). Postdoc Fellow at the Interdepartmental Centre for Ethics in Sciences of the University of Tübingen, Germany (2004-2005). Member of the UNESCO International Bioethics Committee (1998-2005). Since 2010: President-elect of the European Society for Philosophy of Medicine and Healthcare (ESPMH). Member of the editorial boards of: Medicine, Health Care & Philosophy; Journal international de bioéthique; Bioethica Forum.
